Witchcraft is a Journey

Witchcraft is a journey you cannot rush.

When I first began, I dabbled in every practice I could find, thinking I had to do it all in order to be considered a witch. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The true power of witchcraft doesn’t come from squeezing yourself into a mold, or copy-pasting the practices you see on the internet. Your power comes from you! from stepping into your own path, embracing your craft as uniquely yours, and trusting that you are on it for a reason.

Witchcraft will bring you lessons, growth, reflection, and with each step you’ll find a practice that feels more grounded and more aligned. This is what makes you your own witch.

For context, I am a solitary practitioner, and much of what I share comes from that perspective. My path has been winding, shifting with the seasons:

  • Summer – My practice moves outdoors, into river magic and rituals beneath the open sky, working with nature's spirits.

  • Fall / Winter – I turn inward toward hearth work and kitchen witchery. This carries me through winter with herbal tinctures, anointing oils, candle-making, cooking spells, and offerings for the deities I work with.

  • Spring – I focus on planting seeds of manifestation, herbalism, working closely with deities, strengthening divination, and preparing for the outdoor rituals to come.

If I had to label myself, many would call me an eclectic witch with a gift for divination. Tarot is a daily practice for me. I also love hearth magic, kitchen witchery, herbalism, spellcrafting, moon magic, and ancestral connection. Over time, as I deepened my relationship with my lineage, Celtic and pagan practices have grounded me with a sense of purpose that feels like it sings straight to my soul.

Witchcraft is not one-size-fits-all. There is no single guidebook that can hand you your path. That discovery is part of the magic. Like most things in life, it’s all about the journey. 🌙✨
